The Premiere Metro Group first opened its doors in 2001. The agency is owned and operated by Eric C. Huerta, a professional licensed Louisiana insurance agent in the industry since 1996. Mr. Huerta is a member of the PIA (Professional Insurance Agents) in the state of Louisiana.
Mr. Huerta has received numerous awards of recognition, including:
- Leaders conference Award in Property and Casualty Sales
- Met Life Leading Producer Award for outstanding sales and service
Mr. Huerta is also an active member of the Better Business Bureau and a proud member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Premiere Metro Group is a member of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.
Eric C. Huerta was born in Mexico City, Mexico. At age eight, he came to live in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was raised and educated. Eric speaks fluent Spanish and is a dedicated family man. He has been married for over twenty years, and is a proud father of two.
All of the Huerta family is involved in Eric's Louisiana insurance agency. Eric's wife, Michelle, is a nurse who assists in the operation of the company's life insurance and health insurance departments, guiding clients with questions about the applications process and arranging appointments. His son Alexander is a college student who is currently pursuing a career in investment planning and insurance licensure. His daughter Gabriella often assists in the clerical department to assist staff and clients during the summer months.
